Traffic Offenses

Being pulled over by the Police can be a stressful and nerve racking situation. Many times when you are pulled over by the police they will cite you for a traffic violation and inform you that you can either pay the fine and court costs or appear in court to dispute the matter. There are always potential options to resolve your traffic matter, including a reduction of the charge, pleading to a non-moving violation, State Traffic School, or possibly a County Attorney Traffic Diversion program. Before you decide to pre-pay a citation, contact me to discuss the potential ramifications the ticket will have on your license and insurance and any other potential consequences that may occur.

Points accumulate on your driving record with each traffic citation you receive. If you accrue 12 points within a two (2) year period, it may result in a suspension of your driving privileges. Other offenses such as driving without a license, driving with a suspended license or driving without insurance may also result in a suspension of your driving privileges.

If your driving privileges have been suspended, contact me so we can review your driving history and see if we can get you legally back on the road.
