Assault Charges
I have been representing clients charged with Assault since I was admitted to the bar. Assault charges range anywhere from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class B felony. The categorization of the Assault charge depends on the intent of the aggressor, extent of the injury and whether or not a weapon/deadly weapon was used in the commission of the offense.
If you have been charged with an assault related offense, please do not hesitate to contact me. There are several potential defenses available including self-defense and defense of others. If one of these defenses do not apply there is still the possibility of negotiating a plea to a lesser offense not an assault.
